Frank Family Cabernet Sauvignon, Rich dark garnet in color, the 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with savory notes of leather, spice and cedar that play nicely with the aromas of black cherries simmered in brown sugar.
Hardin Cabernet Sauvignon, This 2010 Hardin Cab is composed of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. It is opaque with classic aromas of black fruits, tobacco and cedar. On the palate it is rich and mouth-filling, balanced by beautiful ripe tannins and acidity giving the wine lift. The wine has a core of blackberry and cassis fruits, tobacco and a hint of very well integrated oak. The finish is long, smooth and lingering.
Carpinetto Chianti Classico, Fascinating aromas of black and red cherries, cinnamon, clove, cured meat, lavender and sandalwood greet the nose. It's dry, medium bodied and roundly textured with bright, generous fruit flavours along with spicy notes, dusty tannins and laser-focused acidity.
Schild Estate Barossa Shiraz, Plush, soft berry fruits and flvours of dark chocolate and mocha are supported by a fine tannin framework and hints of dry roasted nuts derived from some well balanced and integrated oak presence.
Chateau Julien Merlot, Forward fruit aromas of ripe plum, cherry and soft raspberry balance mild tannins and a hint of cedar. A full bodied palate with complexity through the finish.
Chateau Bellegrave Medoc, Medium purple. Nose features gravel, rapsberry and cranberry. On the palate it is a delicate wine and features raspberry, cherry, and gravel. Medium finish and a great introduction to Bordeaux.
St. Innocent Pinot Noir, The 2010 Villages Cuvée Pinot noir reflects the signature of Oregon's 2010 vintage: fresh bright fruit, a great backbone of acidity, and focused, precise flavors. It has a nose of bright red and dark fruit, spices, and dark flowers. It is layered in the mouth with sweet cherry and red berry flavors with pepper, spice, and dark floral notes.
Sin Zin Zinfandel, Sin Zin is extremely versatile, perhaps even more so than Pinot Noir, since it holds up to spicy and boldly flavored foods. It's the perfect match for casual Italian including pizza, pasta and lasagna. It also works great with sweet and saucy BBQ Ribs and anything off the grill. For the perfect pairing try it with a black pepper crusted steak.
Diseno Malbec, Delivers ripe mountain fruit, subtle tannins, and complex Malbec character. Deep purple in color with a crimson luster, the bouquet of violets and cherry blossom unfolds to a hint of tobacco. Explosive flavors of earthy blueberry and rich chocolate are robust with well-balanced acidity.
Il Frappatto Sicily, Light red color. 1.5 oz pour. Nose is very herbal, light floral, strawberries. The palate is quite thin, red fruits, herbal. I don't know if this is representative of the varietal, but this was not very enjoyable.
Nieto Malbec, Wine defined and intense, deep red color and good intensity. Its small red fruit notes, plums and figs combine with aromas of vanilla and snuff delivered during aging in French oak. In the mouth it is with great personality, distinguished body, harmonious and sensual.
Sancerre Jean-Marc Crochet, Vinified in stainless steel tanks without oak contact, this wine offers vibrant citrus, lemon and lime, and mineral notes on the bouquet; on the palate, notes of fresh grapefruit, yellow apple, and cling peach are nicely set off by brisk, tangy minerality.
Pietra Santa Chardonnay, This wine is crisp and fresh with flavors of green apples, pears and melons and subtle vanilla on the finish. Made in an un-oaked style, the wine is vibrant with natural acidity and balance that make it an ideal pairing partner with a wide variety of cuisines and a wonderful aperitif.
Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio, Wine defined and intense, deep red color and good intensity. Its small red fruit notes, plums and figs combine with aromas of vanilla and snuff delivered during aging in French oak. In the mouth it is with great personality, distinguished body, harmonious and sensual.
Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc, This vibrant Sauvignon Blanc is bursting with a fruit-salad-bowl of flavors including ripe gooseberry, passion fruit, fresh citrus lime and exotic herbaceous aromas.
La Crema Chardonnay, This Sonoma Coast Chardonnay opens with an intriguing interplay of lively citrus and subtle toasted oak, laced with just a kiss of butterscotch. The palate is round and nutty, with flavors of yellow apple and orange adding lushness, while well-balanced acidity creates a lovely vibrancy.
Gunderloch Riesling, You can expect an off-dry, highly aromatic white Riesling wine with pronounced peach flavors, ripe apple laced with lively citrus fruit and a distinct minerality.
Pouilly-Fuisse Chardonnay, "Ripe, supple and of full body, this classic expression of Pouilly-Fuisse shows vibrant Chardonnay fruit flavors with notes of melon and minerals, gently touched with oak, ending in a fresh, silky finish."
Incognito Blend, California "The 2010 Incognito White, a concoction of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Muscat, and Viognier aged in stainless steel, offers a big perfume of tropical fruit and honey. This fruit bomb is light on its feet and its crisp acidity nicely balances the intensely fruity character."
Seven Heavenly Chardonnay, Pure and ripe with notes of buttered popcorn, white currants, and a hint of peach jam. This wine is medium bodied, balanced, and creamy with a hint of oak in the background.
Vouvray Chenin Blanc, Upon pouring this wine you will notice pear, honey, and white flower aromas. Fresh and balanced on the palate, just slightly off dry with brilliant acidity. You'll notice flavors of quince, honey, apricot, with just a touch of vanilla. 100% Chenin Blanc. Pair this with your favorite Chinese stir fry, especially those made with chicken or tofu.
Dom Perignon Champagne 2002, The bouquet spirals through sweet, bright floral notes and the lively minerality so typical of Dom Pérignon, then notes of candied fruit, plants, the incredible freshness of camphor leaf and finally the dark hints of spices and liquorice root.
Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut, Light straw yellow color with persist bead of tiny bubbles and with a brioche, stone fruit, and a hint of smoke aromas. On the palate, you'll find a delicate mousse, and balanced acidity. The bottle indicates it's Brut, but it closer to off-dry for me with stone-fruit, subtle honey and sweet citrus flavors.
Veuve Cliquot Champagne, Tightly knit, focused by racy acidity and a streak of minerality, this offers subtle notes of white peach, anise, biscuit and kumquat. The refined finish echoes a smoky note.
Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rose, Salmon color. Aromas of wet dough, strawberries, melon, cream and florals. Fine bead with melon, strawberry and red fruit flavors. Has an interesting saline quality on the back of the palate and finish.
NicolasFeuillatte Brut, A touch creamy in aroma, giving way to peach and grapefruit notes. On the lighter side, with floral and herbal elements peeking through. Appealing.
Zardetto Prosecco Superiore Dry, Very consistent with its name. It's a super dry sparkling wine. Can sense how fine bubbles making your tongue dry in details. Extremely crispy with some minerality. It isn't fruity at all. Just has a little pear like taste. It draws your whole attention to the structure and mouth feel instead of the taste.
Toffoli Prosecco, Dry, toasty aromas with lightly fragrant fruit. Subtle lemon flavor with some toastiness. A little flowery. Nice and dry. A perfect Prosecco to serve as an apertif.
Bohigas Cava Brut Rose, The Bohigas Brut Rosat is a fairly dark-colored bottle sparkling Brut rose which is done at the dry end of the Brut scale, with only six grams per liter of dosage. The nose is deep and quite winey in style, offering up scents of cherries, a touch of blood orange, dusty soil tones and a topnote of dried roses.
Bohigas Cava Brut, This is really a lovely bottle of sparkling wine. The grapes for this bottling are all handharvested and the secondary fermentation takes place in bottle a la Champagne. The deep and complex nose offers up a vibrant blend of apple, grapefruit, great minerality, lovely leesy tones and a topnote of dried flowers.
